Acclaimed author of several well-regarded books on fishing and outdoor life, Bob Rich has long captivated readers with his wit and wisdom from the water. He fell in love with storytelling around campfires at summer camps in northern Ontario and was inspired early on by literary greats like Herman Melville and Ernest Hemingway.
Raised in Buffalo, New York, Rich’s passion for fishing deepened over time as he traveled between the shores of Lake Erie and the Florida Keys—experiences that have provided him with a wealth of tales to tell. His debut novel, Looking Through Water, draws on that deep well of personal experience and love for the sport.
In addition to Looking Through Water—soon to appear on the big screen—Rich has authored Fish Fights, The Fishing Club, and The Right Angle. He is also the creator of the documentary Anglers of the Oval Office and the novel Secrets of the Delphi Café.
Rich’s unique blend of storytelling and firsthand fishing experience lends authenticity and depth to his work, making him a compelling and credible voice in the realm of fish stories and outdoor literature.
